How to play Poker
A Texas Hold’em sit-and-go: everyone starts with 1,500 chips, blinds rise every 10 hands and the last player with chips wins. Play chips only: never bought or cashed out.
- No-limit Texas Hold’em, played for play chips: they’re worth nothing.
- You get 2 cards; 5 shared cards come out on the table (flop, turn, river). Best 5-card hand wins.
- Before the deal, the small and big blinds put chips in. Blinds go up every 10 hands.
- On your turn: Fold, Check (if nobody bet), Call, Raise or All-in. A raise is at least the size of the last one.
- When someone is all-in, side pots are made: each player can only win what they covered.
- Hands, best to worst: Straight flush, Four of a kind, Full house, Flush, Straight, Three of a kind, Two pair, Pair, High card.
- Run out of chips and you’re out. The last player with chips wins.
- Keyboard: F fold · C check/call · R raise.
